Shadab Khan has been sent to the National Cricket Academy for rehabilitation.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan is the latest entry in the list of injured cricketers as the 19-year-old has suffered a groin problem ahead of New Zealand tour.

According to details, the injury is not of serious condition but the team management has sent him to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for rehabilitation without taking any risks.

It is expected that the leg-spinner will recover in three days and represent Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in the domestic circuit.

On the other hand, all-rounder Imad Wasim’s fitness has also improved who earlier suffered a knee injury. Imad is also being treated at the NCA, and has now started to run after batting practice.

Sources have informed that the fitness tests of Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim will be held this week which will determine their availability for the New Zealand tour.
