The Pakistanis from across the globe celebrated the historic win with extreme passion.

(Web Desk) – After a long wait of over eight years, Pakistan finally had a reason to celebrate on the streets after their team fittingly defeated arch rivals India and won an international ICC trophy for the first time since the green team lifted the World T20 World Cup way back in 2009 under the captaincy of veteran Younis Khan.

The Pakistani people didn’t waste the opportunity one bit and immediately took to the streets following Sarfraz’s last catch that confirmed Pakistan’s 180-run rout of India. Not only was the occasion special because Pakistan finally won the ICC Cahmpions Trophy for the first time, but because their team had beaten India, the Pakistani supporters coupled with the Pakistani celebrities were over the moon.

The former Pakistani speedster, Shoaib Akhtar, couldn’t hold back his emotions and congratulated the entire nation with a smile unlike any other. Clearly the 41-year-old was delighted with the team’s remarkable performance.



“Yeh Jazba Junoon” singer, Ali Azmat, too, celebrated with his cute daughter and sung the famous song that had us all pumped up.



Politicians too, contributed to the incredible victory and poured in their messages congratulating the team. Here we can see Mishaal Malik, the wife of Hurriyat Leader, Yaaseen Malik, sharing her thoughts over the win.



People of disputed Kasmir once again showed that they stand firm and united with Pakistan. Yesterday’s epic win over India, Forced the Kashmiris to celebrate in the streets once again.
