Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja becomes proud father
Jadeja's wife, Reeva, gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Thursday.
(Web Desk) - The Indian Cricket Team’s ace all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja became a father for the very first time on Thursday after his wife; Reeva Solanki gave birth to a healthy baby girl in a local hospital.
Jadeja, who is currently with the Indian squad for the ongoing Champions Trophy, first saw the baby girl’s photo, sent in by sister Nayna, on Whatsapp. Fellow Indian cricketers were quick to celebrate the birth of their colleague’s first child with former members of the team taking to social media to congratulate the 28-year-old.

The world number one Test bowler got married to Reeva, who is a mechanical engineer by profession, on April 17 last year in Rajkot.
The news of the couple expecting their first child broke out in March this year when Jadeja, in an interview to leading sports channel, said he had to leave his pregnant wife behind to be a part of the team ahead of their high-octane clash against arch-rivals Pakistan.
