ICC takes notice of delay in Pakistan, India women cricket series
The final decision would likely to be taken before November 23.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken notice of delay in Pakistan and India women cricket series.
Sources told that the authorities have handed over the matter to technical committee of the event where governing body’s General Manager of Cricket Operations Geoff Allardice would investigate the matter.
The final decision would likely to be taken before November 23.
It is pertinent to mention here that a proper bilateral series among both countries was scheduled to be played between August to October this year, but India refused to hold the game despite selection of neutral venue from Pakistan side.
On the other hand, qualifying round in ICC women championship would start from February 7 to February 21 while there is a possibility that Indian team would award points to Pakistan team.
