Shahid Afridi deserves farewell match: Inzamam
I can only select player and cannot give him a farewell, says Inzamam
LAHORE (Dunya News) – While talking to media after the announcement of Test Squad for the West Indies Series, the Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq was of the opinion that his job was to select players and not giving farewells.
Inzamam also told that if someone has served his country for 18-20 years, he would be mature enough to decide as to when he has to continue. He revealed that he can only select a player and cannot give him a farewell.
The Chief Selector professed that the PCB is contact with the former captain and both the parties would soon come to a solution over the issue.
He was also of the opinion that Shahid Afridi deserves a farewell match so that he can retire in a glorious manner.
