Misbah, Yasir attend fitness test ahead of England tour
M Hafeez was unable to be a part of the camp because of his absence
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan cricket team s players selected for the upcoming tour of England underwent a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) on Wednesday.
Pakistan s Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and spinners Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar attended the fitness camp along with six other players.
The cricketers practiced batting, bowling and fielding during the skill test. Muhammad Hafeez, due to his absence, was the only player to miss out the test. Pakistan’s trump card Yasir Shah was also seen in action whereas middle-order batsman Asad Shafiq vowed that Pakistan would beat England in its own backyard.
The skill camp of cricketers will proceed until June 5 whereas the team for England tour will be announced after the arrival of head coach Mickey Arthur.
