Have to move forward even if India doesn't apologize: Shehryar
Chairman PCB says things must keep moving, says he doesn't want Misbah to retire yet
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shehryar Khan has on Thursday said that things must continue to move forward even if India doesn’t apologize. He said that he doesn’t Test captain Misbah ul-Haq to retire as yet, reported Dunya News.
Although PCB wrote letter to Indian board complaining about their behavior, Shehryar Khan said that things should move forward instead of indulging into useless debate. “However, it seems that the last door open for a Pak-India series will be closed soon too”, he added.
Appreciating Misbah’s captaincy, Chairman PCB said that the board doesn’t want Misbah to retire as yet. “I want Misbah to captain the side in Pakistan’s tour of England in 2016”, said Shehryar.
Responding to a question about star Pakistani batsman Younis Khan, Shehryar said that the question of his approval will only arise when team management and selection committee will decide the team.
