CC has confirmed reports of suspicion on Muhammad Hafeez’s bowling action

GALLE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistani captain and off-spin bowler Muhammad Hafeez’s bowling action has been declared dubious by International Cricket Council (ICC) in Galle test match on Monday. Hafeez will undergo bowling test again in 14 days, reported Dunya News.

ICC has confirmed reports of suspicion on Muhammad Hafeez’s bowling action and has asked the off-spinner to appear for a bowling test in 14 days.

If Hafeez does not manage to clear his bowling action in the test then he will be banned from bowling for up to a year.

According to sources, Muhammad Hafeez can bowl till the 2nd Test match of Sri Lanka series before bowling appraisal.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hafeez’s action has been flagged as suspicious in the past while playing against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi.
