HAMBANTOTA (Web Desk) – Pakistan and Sri Lanka are facing each other in the second one-day international (ODI) at Hambantota today.
Pakistani bowlers had put Sri Lankan top order in trouble. Opening batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan got caught out by Umer Akmal on Junaid Khan’s ball scoring 13 runs. Kumar Sangakkara got out in the 8th over on Wahab Riaz’s ball contributing 11 runs to the total score.
As the match stepped into the 10th over, Wahab Riaz got Upul Tharanga out on 27 runs. Losing three ace players in the first 10 overs is a big loss to host team.
Angelo Mathews and Mahela Jayawardene together added some handsome runs to the total score as Jayawardene successfully completed his half century and still on the crease.
