COLOMBO (AP) - Kuamr Sangakkara completed an aggressive century Monday as Sri Lanka took a 106-run lead over Bangladesh before being dismissed for 346 prior to lunch on the third day of the second test.
After resuming the day on 296-6, Sri Lanka added just 50 runs for its last four wickets.
Bangladesh reached 23 without loss at lunch, still training by 83 runs, with Tamim Iqbal on 13 and Jahurul Islam on 9.
Seamer Abul Hasan had Sangakkara caught behind on 139 for the morning s breakthrough, while offspinner Sohag Gazi (3-111) cleaned up the tail.
Sangakkara faced 289 deliveries and hit 11 boundaries for his 33rd test century and third straight in this series. He shared 195 runs for the fifth wicket with Dinesh Chandimal, who completed his second test century (102) after Sri Lanka slumped to 69-4.
