Bangladesh has lost 2 wickets in quick succession, of Nazimuddin and Jauhurul Islam, at score of 68.

Nazimuddin scored 16 runs which reflected his struggle to adjust on the crease. His catch was taken by Younis Khan off Shahid Afridis ball. After his ouster, Jauhurl got out without scoring a run. Once again, the catcher was Younis off the ball of Saeed Ajmal.On the other end, however, Tamim Iqbal has scored half century while chasing Pakistan’s total of 236 in Asia Cup.This is Tamim’s fourth half century in Asia Cup match after his dramatic entry to the BD squad.Earlier, hosts Bangladesh put in an impressive bowling and fielding performance to restrict Pakistan to 236-9 in the final of the Asia Cup in Dhaka.Left-arm spinners Shakib Al Hasan and Abdur Razzak and paceman Mashrafe Mortaza bagged two wickets apiece for Bangladesh, making their maiden appearance in the final of the one-day tournament.Sarfraz Ahmed top-scored for Pakistan with an unbeaten 46 in the day-night match.Bangladesh, who upset World Cup winners India and runners-up Sri Lanka in league matches, put Pakistan under pressure when they captured three wickets in the opening 15 overs to send the tourists reeling at 55-3.
