Govt takes Rs 99.56b loans from SBP

The government took loans worth Rs 99.56 billion from the SBP from April 2 to 9.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the government returned Rs 18.93 billion previous loans to commercial banks during the same period. The real volume of the government loans remained Rs 80.63 billion. During the current fiscal year, the loans taken by the private banking sector recorded at Rs 3.53 trillion. The private sector returned Rs 32 billion during this period.
