40-paisa hike in interbank trading: dollar value closes at Rs.122
The national debt has reached Rs. 500 billion
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The most recent 40-paisa hike in the inter-bank market has taken the price of the US dollar to Rs. 122 on Tuesday, the State Bank of Pakistan stated.
An increase of Rs. 5.65 in dollar value has been seen within previous two days due to which, the national debt has reached Rs. 500 billion.

It is pertinent to remember that yesterday, the US dollar s rate reached Rs. 121.50 in Inter Bank market, causing an increase in total amount of national debt and posing threats of possible inflation in the country.
