Chicken price hits Rs 234/kg, tomato surges by Rs 22/kg
At local retail, tomato price has soared to Rs 100 per Kilogram.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prices of tomatoes and chicken have hiked owing to temperatures further decreasing in winters, market reporters filed on Sunday.
According to the details, price for a kilogram of chicken has hit at least Rs 234 while that of tomatoes has jumped to Rs 82 per Kilogram in dedicated Sunday markets, by a sharp increase of Rs 22 within a week.
However, at local retail, tomato price has soared to Rs 100 per Kilogram.
Adding to that, capsicum stands at Rs 100/kg, onion at Rs 46/kg, potato at Rs 33/kg while peas at Rs 75/kg in dedicated Sunday markets.
