Juice companies compelled to include specific quantity of pure ingredients
Deadline for implementation of orders is Dec 25.
LAHORE (Dunya News)- In a commendable order, Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has on Saturday compelled companies to include instructed quantity of fruits in respective juices.
As per details available, apple and grapes must contain 50pc pure ingredients whereas mango and pomegranate must have 25pc. The quantity stands 40pc for peach.
The companies are bound to implement new directives till Dec-25.
PFA has further bound to display instructed quantity on both sides whereas verified labels would be used on both sides of the packets.
