Petrol price likely to go up by Rs1.50 per litre

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prices of petroleum prices are likely to increase by Rs3.50 per litre from next month, sources told.

Petrol price is expected to go up by Rs1.50 a litre while light diesel price could go up by Rs1.30, high speed diesel Rs1.40, high octane Rs3.50 and price of kerosene oil is likely to be raised by Rs1.60 per liter.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will forward its final summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on December 29.

Last month, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil were kept unchanged, while petrol and high speed diesel prices were increased after seven months of stability. Ogra had suggested an increase of Rs6.24 in price of petrol, however, the finance ministry increased the price by Rs2 per litre.
