Pakistan keen to enhance trade relations with Korea: Bokhari

Chairman Senate Nayyer Bukhari has said Pakistan is keen to enhance trade relations with Korea.

 

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Chairman Senate has said that Pakistan is keen to enhance investment and trade relations with South Korea under the vision of East Asia Policy (EAP).

 

He expressed these views in a meeting with South Korean Ambassador in Pakistan, Chong-Joo Choi at the Parliament House here on Wednesday.

 

“Our relations are ever progressing from the very day of engagement and it is dire need of the hour to enhance our trade co-operation and investment in various sectors”, he added.

 

While talking on the occasion, he said that both Pakistan and Korea should further strengthen their engagement in economic sphere where huge potential exists.

 

Chairman Senate reiterated that Korea could particularly invest in energy sector and technology fields and also emphasized the need to enhance number of scholarships for Pakistani students as they can act as a bridge between the two countries.

 

He recalled that large number of skilled labour from Pakistan is working in Korea and if needed more skilled labour can be sent.
