Mixed trend was witnessed at Karachi stock market on Monday as the benchmark 100-index closed below 9700 level with a decrease of 126 points.The business activities started in negative zone at the start of new business week as the investors remained cautious due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the country. The KSE-100 index closed at 9642, down 126 points with trade volume of 156.7 million shares. Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. remained volume leader with 28.8 million shares and share price of Rs 39.10, up Rs 0.75.
