(Web Desk) – Over 400, 000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh ever since violence erupted in Myanmar’s Rakhine state in late August, according to figures provided by the United Nations.

While estimates claim as many as one million Rohingya have fled Myanmar since the 70s, the recent wave of conflict in Rakhine is being termed as one of the largest exodus in recent times. A majority of those who have fled have made their way to Bangladesh with hundreds of thousands fleeing to other countries.
