LAHORE (Web Desk) - The president of Iceland Guðni Th. Jóhannesson wrote on his Facebook account that he would have banned pineapple on pizza if he could, reported Dunya News.
The president s post was widely discussed on social media and international media. He was answering questions of students at a school when he told that his favourite football club is Manchester and he dislikes pineapples on pizzas.
The president also clarified his statement on the facebook page and told that fortunately he does not have power to make this law. He wrote that he only likes seafood on the pizza.
He was elected president in June last year and he is very popular among his people. He is also the first president of any country to march in a Gay Pride parade.
