An artist who can only paint while he’s asleep has decided to sell his entire collection on eBay – for £1million.
Lee Hadwin, 37, creates portraits of Marilyn Monroe as well as more abstract pieces while out cold, but has no idea what he has done – until he wakes up.
He has been able to do it since he was just four years old and leaves pads of paper around to use in the night.
US tycoon Donald Trump and illusionist Derren Brown have both bought his works.
The London-based artist suffers from nausea and migraines after a session and has baffled sleep clinics.
He even admitted: “My art’s horrific when I’m conscious.”
Experts advised him to hang on to his creations to increase their value but he is selling the lot and giving half the proceeds – £500,000 – to the Missing People charity.
A collection of between 80 and 100 pieces of Lee’s art will be put up for sale on eBay on February 11.
