(Web Desk) – YouTube, a widely popular video sharing platform, has launched its "YouTube Premium" and "YouTube Music" services in Pakistan.
YouTube Premium is a subscription service offered by the Google-owned company. The service provides ad-free access to content across the service.
It offers the users millions of videos uninterrupted by ads before and during a video, including video overlay ads. You will also not see third-party banner ads and search ads, the company said in its blog.
The subscribers of the Premium Service are allowed download the video to watch them offline. It also offers the play in the background service to keep videos playing when using other apps or when mobile phone screen is off.
YouTube Music Premium also offers a similar experience, allowing users to enjoy music content in the YouTube Music app without ads.
YouTube Premium is available from Rs479 per month and includes membership to YouTube Music Premium.
Users can also sign up for Premium Family Plan for Rs899 per month. It allows users to add up to five members aged 13 plus.
It is also available for students who can sigh up for Premium Student Plan for Rs329 and for Music Premium Student Plan they will pay Rs149 per month.
