KARACHI (Dunya News) - Peshawar Zalmi registered a massive 159-run victory over Karachi Kings in the 17th match of the Pakistan Super League Season 11.

Chasing a daunting target of 247 runs, Karachi Kings were bowled out for just 87 in 16.1 overs.

Openers David Warner and Mohammad Wasim were dismissed for ducks, putting their side under immediate pressure.

Aggressive batter Azam Khan top-scored with 25 runs, while Saad Baig made 14 and Khushdil Shah added 10.

For Peshawar Zalmi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Sufiyan Muqeem and Nahid Rana claimed three wickets each.

Earlier, batting first at the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi posted a formidable total of 246 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs.

Kusal Mendis starred with a blistering 109 off 52 balls, smashing four sixes and 14 fours, while captain Babar Azam played a composed unbeaten knock of 87 off 51 deliveries.

For Karachi Kings, Abbas Afridi took two wickets, while Khushdil Shah picked up one.
