DOHA (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif and Rana Irfan Mahmood have advanced to the pre quarter finals of the Asian Snooker Championship following the conclusion of league matches.

On the third day of the championship underway in Doha, Qatar, Rana Irfan Mahmood secured a place in the last 16 by winning two matches in a single day. He defeated the United Arab Emirates’ Mohammad Shahab 4-1 and then outclassed Malaysia’s Mohammad Wafi 4-0 in his second match.

Former world champion Mohammad Asif of Pakistan also progressed after defeating Hong Kong’s Tom Yun Fong by 4-1.
