(Web Desk) - Pakistan’s Shahid Aftab advanced to the second round of the World Snooker Championship after defeating his Indian opponent.

According to details, in the ongoing IBSF World Snooker Championship in Doha, Qatar, national cueist Shahid Aftab continued his impressive performance.

In the round of 16, he defeated Indian player Paras Gupta 4–2 in a thrilling contest to secure his place in the pre-quarterfinals.

The frame scores of his victory were 25–73, 94–27, 36–77, 76–58, 6–122, and 49–60.

Meanwhile, former world number two Muhammad Sajjad, who had directly qualified for the round of 32, lost to Hong Kong’s Fung Kwok Wai but still managed to advance to the next stage.
