Cristiano Ronaldo's yacht checked by Spanish Customs Tax Agency
The Real Madrid star was returning from a meal onshore with his family.
MADRID (Daily Dunya) - One of the world s best football players, Cristiano Ronaldo’s yacht thoroughly checked by agents of the Customs Tax Agency in Formentera, Spain when the star was enjoying his holidays.
The Real Madrid star was returning from a meal onshore with his family when he was stopped by three officers who further checked the boat for clearance.
Among the group were Ronaldo s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and her mother.
It is to be mentioned here that Ronaldo was accused by Spanish tax department of €14.8 million (£12.9m) tax fraud. He is also due to appear before the Spanish court in the case after three weeks.
Gestifute, the agency representing the player, said in a statement, "There is no tax evasion scheme ... There has never been any hiding nor any intention to hide anything."
