Maradona joins UAE football as manager of second-tier Fujairah
The 56-year-old Argentine has signed a one year deal with the club.
FUJAIRAH (Web Desk) – One of the greatest footballers in history, Diego Maradona, has joined United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) second-tier club Fujairah as its manager for the next season.
According to details, the 56-year-old Argentine has signed a one year deal with the club, and posted a message on his Facebook page which said, “I want to let you all know that I am the new manager of Al-Fujairah SC who hail from the UAE’s second division. These are my new colours!”
Maradona was seen holding a Fujairah shirt, with his surname and his famous No. 10 emblazoned on the back.
