Gilgit: National Ski Championship concludes today
Forty-four players participated in the competition while PAF contestants put up a marvelous show.
GILGIT (Dunya News) – National Ski Championship that took place at Naltar Valley, a village near Gilgit and Hunza, concluded on Wednesday followed by an ostentatious closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony was as impressive as the championship itself; local musical band and performers entertained the guests with joyous songs and cultural dances.
A total 44 players from 10 teams participated in the competition while contestants from Pakistan Air Force exhibited superlative spectacles at various events.
PAF Olympian Muhammad Karim bagged the top rank with three gold medals and Olympian Muhammad Abbas stood second. Commander Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA), Major General Asim Saleem Munir, distributed prizes among the players.
