A demonstration was staged in Multan against 3-day CNG closure in Punjab.

The protesters termed as discriminatory 3-day closure in Punjab and 2-day closure in Sindh. They staged a sit-in at Kutchehry Chowk and raised slogans against the government. They said that the unscrupulous elements in the government first promoted CNG stations and even issued licenses illegally. They said now the people want to use the alternative fuel and have fitted costly CNG kits to their vehicles, but the same elements are now creating artificial shortage and load shedding. They said the government seems bent on destroying the CNG industry.
