The Federal Board of Revenue Inspectors have gone on strike in Islamabad for not being promoted.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Alliance Employs Union threatened a countrywide strike if their demands would not be accepted.The workers said that the FBR inspectors had not been promoted into grade 16.The FBR workers said that if the administration did not resolve their issues in four days, they will launch a countrywide protest.
