Two hardened criminals escaped from the hospital, owing to negligence of police.

Two criminals involved in kidnapping, bank robberies and blasts escaped from Civil Hospital Karachi. Four policemen were guarding Illauddin and Kashif who were under treatment in the hospital. Three guards left the hospital during their duty. Meanwhile, two persons came and brought breakfast for the prisoners. The police official said they hid their weapons in watermelon. They injured the remaining guard and tied him with the bed. The accused Illauddin was arrested after police encounter and got injured when a hand grenade exploded. The accused Kashif was booked for kidnapping. Sub-inspecor Abdul Hameed and three cops Kamran, Ahmed Moeen and Shams have been arrested.
