PTIs intra-party polls for Islamabad region Sunday
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad region election will take place on Sunday.
ISLAMABAD: “Insaf Shaheen” team and “Insaf” dream team are in the run to this poll and both are making claims of their success.
Sources said constituencies NA-48 and NA-49 have been given status of districts by PTI and both these districts constitute Islamabad region in the perspective of intra party polls. Polls in respect of both these constituencies will be held in a motel at federal capital simultaneously in sector F-7 Markaz.
Shaheen team is being led by Amir Mughal, Ziad Abbasi, Khurram Niaz, Abida Raja and others while Dream team comprises Jamil Abbasi, Nafeesa Khattak, Ali Awan and Dr Israr Shah.
Sardar Akbar from Amir Mughal led group will compete Naeem Khan Swati from rival group for the office of president in constituency No 48 while Raja Asghar Ali backed by Amir Mughal led group will take on Alim Nabi from rival group in a neck to neck contest for the office of president in constituency No 49.
