Sheikhupura: Blast at cylinder godown injures two

At least two women were injured in a blast at a cylinder godown in Sultanpura area in Sheikhupura.

According to details, Rizwan has installed a plant at his residence in Sultanpura area of Shekhupura to fill CNG in cylinders. He has also obtained an illegal sui gas connection from the main pipeline for this purpose.On Saturday morning a cylinder exploded during gas filling due to which two women were injured and roofs and walls of several adjacent houses collapsed. Residents of the area informed that a similar blast was also occurred one and a half year ago at the same house.Police reached the spot of the blast and arrested two persons. Police also took possession of CNG plant and other equipment from the site.
