PAKPATTAN (Dunya News) – Eleven persons were killed and 33 were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a trailer on Depalpur Road here on Thursday.
According to rescue officials, a passenger bus was going from Multan to Lahore when it collided with a potato-laden trailer near 17 SP, which led the bus to overturn.
Paramilitary and patrol police personnel were also among those killed in the accident.
Rescue teams have begun operations to retrieve the injured passengers and bodies trapped in the bus.
As soon as the accident was reported, Deputy Commissioner Asif Raza and DPO Javed Iqbal reached the scene to monitor the rescue operation.
