Summary Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz will review Murree development projects, including Mall Road rehabilitation, Jhika Gali reconstruction and compensation for affected residents.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has summoned an important meeting on Tuesday to review ongoing development projects in Murree.
According to party sources, Maryam Nawaz left Lahore for Islamabad on a special aircraft, where she will be briefed on ongoing development schemes in Murree.
Sources said the meeting is also expected to include consultations between Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on various aspects of the Murree Development Plan.
The meeting will also consider proposals for reconstruction and rehabilitation of Mall Road and Jhika Gali Chowk.
Sources added that the issue of compensation payments to Mall Road Hillside affectees will also be discussed. Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been staying in Changla Gali, Murree, for the past week.
