Summary Nine militants were killed in separate security operations in Balochistan’s Mastung and Pishin districts, while four CTD personnel were injured in an exchange of fire.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Security forces have eliminated nine terrorists in two different operations in Balochistan.
In Mastung district, security forces carried out an operation against militants belonging to “Fitna al-Hindustan.” Three militants, including a commander identified as Naqeeb, were killed during the operation.
According to security sources, the militants’ vehicle was successfully targeted by a quadcopter during the operation. The strike killed three militants and completely destroyed their vehicle.
Security sources said the forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism and that operations will continue until the last militant is eliminated.
Separately, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Saranan area of Pishin. The CTD spokesperson said six suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire.
Four security personnel were also wounded during the operation, the spokesperson said.
The CTD said the deceased suspects were affiliated with a banned organisation and that weapons and explosives were recovered from their possession. The spokesperson further claimed that the militants had been involved in attacks targeting security forces and civilians.
The operations are part of continued efforts by security forces to counter militant activity in Balochistan.
