Summary Report sent to IG and also be handed over to interior ministry
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Police have completed an inquiry report on PIMS fire incident and sent it IG.
The report will be sent to the interior ministry. It included written statements and locations of the named officers. CCTV footage of PIMS Hospital and footage of Safe City are also part of the report. According to the report, the police took written statements from former ED PIMS Imran Sikandar and Professor Dr Saadia.
The statements of the doctors were also recorded. According to sources, the statement of nurse Razia Parveen, who saved a newborn, was also recorded. A decision to register a case will be made after final permission from the interior ministry.
The Islamabad High Court heard a petition for a judicial inquiry into the PIMS tragedy. The court merged the petition with an already pending case.
