KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have registered a case against the people who were protesting against the murder of Mir Raza and for the arrest of his murderer, but police claimed that the protesters disrupted a road leading to an airport and held batons and sticks to create law and order situation in the City.

Businessman Mir Raza was found murdered after missing. Police had claimed he died by suicide. Later, investigation, post-mortem report and body exhumation revealed that the young businessman was tortured to death.

According to the FIR, protesters once again blocked Shara-e-Faisal on Wednesday night. They protesters were carrying banners and sticks. The banners had slogans demanding the arrest of Mir Raza's killers.

The FIR stated that the road leading to the airport was closed by the protesters and they disrupted traffic. Names of 20 people are included in the FIR while others are unknown.

The FIR said Shara-e-Faisal was blocked daily, causing inconvenience for the citizens. A case was registered at the Firozabad police station on the complaint of the government.
