Addressing the Provincial Apex Committee meeting on the National Action Plan (NAP) in Quetta, the prime minister said Pakistan had witnessed several major terrorist incidents over the past four days.

Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to police personnel, Pakistan Army soldiers, and civilians who lost their lives in recent attacks, saying the country's political and military leadership remained fully united in the fight against terrorism.

The prime minister maintained that militants were operating from Afghan territory to launch attacks inside Pakistan and claimed that the country's eastern neighbour was providing terrorists with weapons and financial support.

He also said that external elements were involved in terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
