Summary Political parties are making their final efforts to mobilize voters before campaigning officially ends ahead of polling day

GILGIT (Dunya News) - Election campaigning for the Gilgit-Baltistan general elections scheduled for June 7 will conclude at midnight on Friday, bringing an end to weeks of political activity across the region.

In constituency GBA-1, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is set to hold a major public gathering at the Aga Khan Shahi Polo Ground. The rally will be addressed by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will stage an election rally in the Rondo subdivision of Skardu under constituency GBA-10. Senior party leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Amir Muqam are expected to address the gathering.

Separately, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party will organize a rally led by former governor Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon, who is also expected to speak at an election event.
