BEIJING (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Beijing after completing his official engagements in Hangzhou.

According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Beijing today after concluding his official programme in Hangzhou, a city in China’s Zhejiang province.

Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, he was received by China’s Minister for Ecology and Environment, Mr. Huang Runqiu.

In Hangzhou, the Prime Minister chaired the opening session of the third Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference, which focused on charging infrastructure, battery energy storage, solar technologies, and pharmaceutical sectors.

He also held meetings with Zhejiang provincial leadership and major Chinese companies, including Star Charge, CATL, and Zhejiang Pharmaceutical, where practical steps to enhance investment and industrial cooperation were discussed.

The Prime Minister also visited the Alibaba headquarters, where he was welcomed by Executive Chairman Joe Tsai.

During his stay in Beijing, Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and other senior officials to further strengthen the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China.

The visit aims to promote cooperation under the second phase of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), particularly in trade, investment, industry, agriculture, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.

It is worth noting that the visit is taking place on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
