KARACHI (Dunya News) - Governor Sindh Syed Nehal Hashmi on Monday expressed deep concern over the arrest of Saad Edhi in Israel while he was on a humanitarian mission.
Nehal Hashmi said that stopping those who serve humanity is against global humanitarian values and laws. He stated that Saad Edhi and his aid workers were carrying food, medicines, and relief supplies for the oppressed people of Palestine.
The Governor further said that the arrest of welfare volunteers is a failed attempt to suppress the spirit of humanity. He urged the international community to take immediate notice and ensure the safe release of the aid workers.
He added that the Pakistani nation stands with every individual serving humanity adding that every voice raised to help the Palestinian people is a voice for humanity.
