ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said in parliament that PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are being provided the best possible medical treatment while in custody.
Speaking during a Senate session, Rana Sanaullah said discussions had taken place regarding the PTI founder’s health and meetings with him, adding that the law does not permit such meetings to be used for political purposes.
He further stated that repeated confrontational politics against the federation would not improve the situation, alleging that an anti-state narrative had been promoted and claiming he could provide evidence regarding those assertions.

Meanwhile, during the National Assembly session, opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai questioned the government over when a meeting with the PTI founder would be arranged and when he would be shifted to a hospital of his choice.
Separately, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said the party fully supported the opposition leader’s stance, adding that despite approaching the Supreme Court multiple times and the high court repeatedly, the party had not received relief.
Barrister Gohar also claimed that no one was being allowed to meet the PTI founder to assess his condition, intensifying the ongoing political debate over access and treatment arrangements.
