ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned to the country after completing a three-day, three-nation diplomatic tour, arriving in Lahore from Antalya, officials confirmed on Saturday.

The visit covered Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkiye, where the prime minister held high-level meetings with the leadership of all three countries. Alongside bilateral engagements, he also interacted with global leaders attending the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the tour, discussions focused on strengthening Pakistan’s relations with its regional partners, with particular emphasis on expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. The prime minister also highlighted Pakistan’s efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region, while exchanging views on evolving regional and global developments.

Meetings with leaders of Saudi Arabia and Qatar were described as productive, with both sides exploring avenues to enhance economic and strategic collaboration. Officials indicated that the engagements included meaningful dialogue on advancing bilateral ties and addressing shared challenges.

PM Shehbaz was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi.

Speaking after the visit, Ishaq Dar stated that the engagements were successfully completed, describing the visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar as highly fruitful. He noted that the discussions were aimed at enhancing cooperation in various fields through focused bilateral negotiations.

On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the prime minister held a meeting with Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The forum, which has grown into a prominent global platform, brought together world leaders and policymakers to deliberate on pressing international issues.

Officials added that the prime minister utilised the opportunity to engage with multiple international counterparts, reinforcing Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and positioning on key global matters.
