HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – The funeral prayer in absentia, organized by Jamaat-e-Islami, was held for Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Hyderabad on Sunday amid heavy police deployment.
A large number of people participated in the funeral prayer held at Hyder Chowk. Special prayers, were also offered for the forgiveness of the martyrs and for Iran’s victory in the war.
According to sources, the participants strongly condemned attack on Iran. The also raised slogans against Israel and the United States. They stated that for the first time Israel and the United States jointly attacked Iran.
The participants were of the view that Muslim countries should unite and give a strong response to the United States and Israel. A large number of members of Shia organizations also attended the funeral prayer.
