Benazir Income Support Programme raises quarterly payments to Rs14,500 for eligible women; educational and development programme funds also increased by Rs500, ensuring greater support during Ramazan
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Benazir Income Support Programme has announced a significant increase in payments for eligible women ahead of Ramazan.
During a live e-court session at BISP headquarters, Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid confirmed that the quarterly payment under the Benazir Khawateen Kafalat Programme has been increased by Rs1,000, bringing the total to Rs14,500 per recipient.
Additionally, payments under the Benazir Educational Scholarships and Benazir Nashonuma Programmes have been raised by Rs500 to provide further support for mothers and children.
Senator Khalid instructed that women should receive their full entitlements without deductions and advised anyone facing issues to contact the BISP helpline at 080026477 or visit the nearest office.
