ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to 10 soldiers who embraced martyrdom for the motherland in Balochistan, saying the fight will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism.

The prime minister lauded officers and personnel of the security forces for foiling malicious attempts by Fitna-e-Hindustan to disrupt peace in Balochistan and crushing the enemy’s designs.

He praised the professional capabilities of the security forces for thwarting coordinated attacks by Fitna-e-Hindustan at 12 locations in Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin, Pasni and Gwadar, eliminating 58 terrorists.

The prime minister also commended the defenders of the homeland for killing 88 Indian-backed terrorists in various operations over the past 48 hours, praying for the elevation of ranks of the martyrs and patience for their families.

He said the entire nation, including himself, is proud of its martyrs, adding that security forces continue to safeguard the country without regard for their own lives.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned terrorist attacks in different areas of Balochistan and praised security forces and law-enforcement agencies for foiling the assaults. He saluted the brave soldiers who crushed the terrorists’ evil intentions.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also paid tribute to the security forces, stating that Pakistan’s forces have broken the backbone of the Indian-sponsored terrorist network and that the terrorists are now in a state of panic.

Additionally, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah praised the security forces for foiling the attacks, saying the martyred personnel prioritized the defense of the homeland over their own lives and the nation is indebted to them.
