QUETTA (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced a significant 70% drop in crime in Quetta over the past two months, highlighting major improvements in the city’s law and order.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), CM Bugti said that under the Safe City project, 97% of the city’s surveillance cameras have been restored, enhancing monitoring and making the city’s security system more effective.

He added that efforts are ongoing to gradually improve the overall law and order situation in Balochistan, ensuring safer conditions for residents.

The Chief Minister also praised the provincial police for their frontline role against terrorism and criminal elements.
