Bugti directs to utilise all resources to control Shirani forests fire

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Thursday expressed concern over the fire that has erupted in the mountainous forests of Shirani district.

Sarfaraz Bugti has directed that all resources and machinery be utilised to bring the Shirani forest fire under control. He said that forests are a national asset, and the government will take all possible measures to protect valuable natural resources.

Sarfaraz Bugti said that the Levies, Police, Forest Department, and PDMA should immediately launch a joint operation. Preventing the spread of damage at the initial stage is essential, he added.

He also instructed the PDMA to maintain close coordination with the district administration and provide all necessary support for the rescue operation without delay.
