ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A gas leak at Numl University, Islamabad, led to an explosion on Tuesday, injuring four people and creating panic among students and staff.

According to initial reports, a gas pipe in a closed classroom leaked, and when a janitor opened the room and switched on the lights, an explosion occurred. The fire spread quickly to nearby areas but was swiftly controlled by multiple Rescue 1122 teams dispatched to the scene.

The injured, including the janitor who suffered severe burns, were provided immediate medical attention and transferred to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
